Graphic Design Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for professional graphic designers and non-designers trying to do their own graphic design. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I installed, reinstalled, uninstalled multiple times..patched/updated and stuff. NO matter what 3d options, menus, settings, nothing exits.

Those features will not work if your video card is not of a certain level, for example old or low cost computer. The 3-d features depend on using the GPU (graphics processing unit) to accomplish the math necessary. My 2009 mac mini will not do them, for example.

maybe, but mine belongs to high end video card category. – Muhammad Umer Dec 19 '12 at 18:27

i made it work, the problem was basically that i have two versions installed. Previous one somehow messes up this one even if it is in a different directory.
