why is it happening, mostly in illustrator. Lets say if i am trying to draw a thin line it would go from full size of brush, i.e. 10 px, to 1 px. So annoying, messes up the whole thing. Did you ever encounter this problem.

What tablet do you have? – Derek Jan 24 at 6:11
Adobe only tests, and codes for Wacom. If another tablet works at all, it's sheer luck. – Scott Jan 24 at 20:00

Hmm. I don't know too much about that specific tablet, but I do know that most tablets come with software that allows you to customize the pressure and other features/settings of the tablet. I would check the manufacturers site for any software that might be available for your tablet, or double check and see if a disk came with your tablet when you originally purchased it.

The problem was that illustrator that i was using was portable version. I had no such problem with the stable version. I am happy that it worked out.

Any "portable" version of Illustrator is nothing more than a pirated copy. Adobe does not make "portable Illustrator." – Scott Feb 23 at 4:07
