Graphic Design Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for professional graphic designers and non-designers trying to do their own graphic design. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Couple days back, I've migrated from Windows to OS X and now I'm considering all the Mac alternative software that wasn't previously available.

For quite some time I've been using Lightroom 2 to manage my photos. I'm not professional photographer, but I've got DSLR with couple of lenses and take a lot of pictures.

Now I'm considering whether I should upgrade to Lightroom 3, or give Aperture 3 a try. Is there anything in which Aperture is considerably better, or is this just a matter of taste?
