I have a dark grey box, with a large headline and 2 paragraphs following.

The background is grey(nearblack), the text is yellowly/orange.

Im working with yellow/orange/white/grey.

Any tips of making it less flat and a bit more eye candy

See also Styling clean flat-design buttons so they show affordance, and look 'well designed' Not exactly the same question but you might find it useful. –  user568458 Nov 15 '13 at 13:28
Go with the very subtle gradient of lighter to darker. –  John Nov 15 '13 at 14:10
Welcome to GD! I did downvote your question because there is no way we could give you an accurate answer without know what you have done. Please post a screenshot as indicated by @Bakabaka and I would imagine you would get a better answer, too. Furthermore, what have you tried? You mention flat design, but we dont know your take on said design. –  Matt Nov 15 '13 at 14:30
in support of @Matt_2.0: the design which is described could be insanely good, insanely bad or just insane. We have no way of judging or providing meaningful feedback. –  horatio Nov 15 '13 at 15:13

1 Answer 1

From the bottom left corner of the box to the half of the right vertical line, draw a like a triangle that takes the bottom half of the box. The top of that triangle must pull a bit towards the inside of that triangle(almost like an upside down "C"just a lil' bit) Make that triangle a lighter shade of the Grey that u used for the box. And that lighter shade must get even lighter as you go further down and c how it looks Hope it works
