Graphic Design Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for professional graphic designers and non-designers trying to do their own graphic design. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I run a small web design/illustration firm that primarily works with international clients. Recently I have been looking into the different online payment/invoicing options that are available to speed up from slow bank transactions. I know most of you will say that PayPal is the obvious choice here but from obscure reasons PayPal has restrictions for my country that make it impossible to use for the described purposes.

So, from what I have seen so far Google Checkout seem like my best alternative. I am especially excited about their e-mail invoicing feature. Still what is holding me back is that I have still not heard of any designers actually using the service yet? I am interested to know what are your experiences and opinions about Google Checkout- and at bottom line, how much can and will a designer benefit from it?

Thank you.

I don't see how this is actually about graphic design. Yes, you ask how useful it is "for designers" but I highly doubt the experience is different for anyone else. – Matthew Read Jun 13 '11 at 13:12
