Graphic Design Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for professional graphic designers and non-designers trying to do their own graphic design. It's 100% free, no registration required.

So, I'm trying to create my first action.

This is what I want to happen upon running the action:

  • Set Foreground Colour
  • LET USER PICK COLOUR WITH EYEDROPPER TOOL
  • Create new Swatch of Foreground Colour

I've managed to get the above working, but the action seems to be recording the colour I set, and not letting the colour be defined by the user.

I've heard there's a pause button, but I can't seem to work out where this is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: So, apparently there's a Toggle Dialog box to the left of your action, but when I click it it doesn't turn on or off. Weird.

Not sure you can define an action for this. Actions are recordings of exact tasks. –  ckpepper02 Dec 5 '13 at 16:19
