I am trying to design a cool looking design but I was in the middle of masking the text when it just wouldn't let me anymore. No error message or anything came up but it just got to a point where it wouldn't mask anymore. Anyone know what the problem could be? I was using a brush to mask away some color from the text and then it just wouldn't let me continue. Here is a picture of what i'm trying to describe:

Hi there! When you say it won't let you mask anymore, what do you mean? Do you get any notifications? Does your brush stop painting? I'm having difficulty understanding what you mean, because there aren't many details. Is there any other information you can add to your question? Maybe screenshots of what your layers look like? –  Yisela Feb 24 at 20:54

I've tried masking away the color so that I'm just left with a little color at the bottom but it will only let me remove a little of the color (the middle section) now when I try to remove more color with the brush nothing happens. –  Ollie Acyll Feb 24 at 20:57

Make certain your brush isn't set to an odd blending mode. For example, if the brush is set to something like "Hard Light" it will have a different effect on a mask than when it's set to "Normal" –  Scott Feb 24 at 22:06

@Scott I have the brush set to vivid light and still nothing is happening. –  Ollie Acyll Feb 25 at 11:48

Set it to Normal. –  Scott Feb 25 at 14:56
