I compiled the latest version of Blender from the svn repository, Cycles is available but without the switch between CUDA and OpenCL and everything is performed by the CPU: how i can enable the using of OpenCL?

This really belongs on SU or SO, not here, as it's not a design-related question. – Alan Gilbertson Dec 7 '11 at 18:52
Blender is a software for 3D modeling, also i think that this kind of knowledge is required for who want to use this kind of software. – Micro Dec 7 '11 at 19:31

That's the point, really. Technical "under the hood" things like this are specifically listed as beyond the scope of the GD.SE: "Technical questions related to 3D software" – Alan Gilbertson Dec 7 '11 at 22:28
I'm going to close this one for now. I'd be willing to open it up if you can give more details, like OS, other setup, etc. But even then, you might be better off asking it at superuser.com – PearsonArtPhoto Dec 8 '11 at 12:38
