I was wondering where do you guys get your inspiration for Type and How you decide the right Type Face for your projects.

I've found this flowchart very helpful in selecting decent typefaces for various projects.

I follow a similar process to what is drawn in the flowchart (except in my head!) but additionally, I often google the font to check the history, what its purpose was. Also, I find the tags in myFonts to be extremely useful. They're not perfect but if you're looking let's say, for a 1920s feel, it can help you narrow your choices down a lot or at least get an idea of what was used back then. –  Emilie Apr 6 at 2:52
