What is your favourite fonts to use in your designs? They have something like this in StackOverflow and WebApps SE, detailing their favourite programs or favourite webapps per answer. Perhaps we could do this too with typography on Graphic Design SE.

(Suggestion: Vote for one font in each answer. If you are adding in a new font, include a screencap of the font in use. Set it to font 45 for legibility.)

I can see the point of "List" questions for, say, certain applications or tools to get an overview what's on the market, but a font list with no further criteria than "favourite" is a model question for "subjective and argumentative" – Pekka 웃 Jan 22 '11 at 11:11

@Pekka, I agree. Also when looking at the current answers, there are no reasoning whatsoever why those fonts are favourites! Some criteria and guidelines would be good to be added in the question; in current form it is kind of broad and as such not a good subjective question. What makes a font favourite? – koiyu Jan 22 '11 at 11:45
