Graphic Design Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for professional graphic designers and non-designers trying to do their own graphic design. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I successfully ran a batch on one folder. I then tried it on another and all PS did was copy all the new files to the destination directory without running the action.

I've tried recreating the action and restarting my machine. Didn't make a difference.

Attached is the screen shot of my settings.

Any ideas?enter image description here

What does the action do? What are the steps in the action? Without more detail, it's going to be difficult to diagnose the issue. Does the action just resize images? If so, this can be done pretty easily with Automator as well (already sitting in your Applications folder). To do this, look up the "Scale" Automator action. – Marc Edwards Mar 2 '12 at 12:08
After that problem occurred did you try to run that action independently from the actions window? ( To see if it still does something. ) – Joonas Mar 2 '12 at 12:12

I noticed you've selected “Log Errors To File”. I'd want to check this file first for any signs of trouble. – thebodzio Mar 6 '12 at 23:38
Did you check the 'override action "save as" commands' checkbox and then try? – poepje Jun 14 '12 at 19:54
