Graphic Design Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for professional graphic designers and non-designers trying to do their own graphic design. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I found a (german) description on how to install it for Linux (http://zinformatik.de/tipps-tricks/interessante-programme/gimp-2-7-mit-single-window-mode-installieren/) but I want it for Windows. Anybody got that working? Or is there even a pre-compiled version available for download?

This question is specific to the software and not related to a design issue. More fitting on SuperUser - would you like it migrated there? – Farray Jun 1 '12 at 2:47

Thank you for the link. But apart from being reported as virus the version does not have single window activated either. So I will have to wait. – gentlesea Apr 3 '12 at 11:44
