I need plenty of feathers from eagles (legally restricted, so forget about eagles), hawks, turkeys, pheasants, eared grebes, and many other indigenous birds for my art. What is a good way to get these?

+1 for being such a bizarre question. – DA01 Apr 13 '12 at 0:04
I'm not sure GD is the right place for this question, but you may be interested in area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/7250/art-creation – Farray Apr 13 '12 at 0:16
Have you tried: zoos/aviaries/bird parks, farms, game reserves, beaches, taxidermists, etc.? Pillows also come in both goose down and goose feather. – Lèse majesté Apr 13 '12 at 3:36
Hi Michelle. You're welcome to post Graphic Design related questions, but this one is too far outside the topic of this site. Follow the link Farray gave and get in on the ground floor of the proposed Art Creation site. – Alan Gilbertson Apr 13 '12 at 5:29
