I am trying to model a bottle on Milkshape. So I did all the usual stuff (i.e. modeling over a background image, assigning 1 joint to all the vertices, assigning textures to each part), but when I assign the textures, I can not see the textures being relayed on to the screen. Meaning my object has no textures.

At first I though it was a glitch that would go away if I export it, but even when I reimport it to the program I am using it with (metaio), I see no texture.

What is the problem? Am I forgetting to do something?
