What is the average size and resolution of a movie theater ad. I'm changing a mock up I made in Photoshop into a Movie Theater ad that my client will be using but I'm having a hard time finding the correct specs for the advertisement itself and the size of the images i will be using on it. Any information or tips would be extremely useful. Thank You to all who reply

"Movie Theater ad" is a very, very broad, non-descriptive, term. It could mean anything from a handbill to a life size three dimensional display. I think you need to ask your client what the specific use is and therefore, the size. As your question stands, it's impossible to answer other than to say all print projects should be completed at a PPI of 240 to 300. – Scott Sep 15 '12 at 0:23
Please clarify the question with more detail. It is not possible to answer in its present form (see Scott's comment), and I or one of the other mods will delete it if it stays as it is. – Alan Gilbertson Sep 15 '12 at 21:02
I assumed this was for projection of a static image on the cinema screen, but on re-reading it does need to be clearer. – e100 Nov 1 '12 at 12:20
Usually your client or the theater or distributor they run it through can provide you with those specifics. – kontur Feb 4 at 11:28
