comment How to convert to GIF in MS Word without losing the font style?
Just to clarify to the OP, Word is a word processing software not graphic design software, your best option is to hire a logo designer, or someone you know with illustrator experience to create a vector version of your logo so you can use it at any size on anything you need to in the future.

comment What font does the logo for East Photographic use?
that line between the s & t is called a discretionary ligature, they appear between certain letter combinations in some fonts. I've found a close similar that is free DejaVu Serif Book fontsquirrel.com/fonts/DejaVu-Serif

comment Best ways of saving .png 2D game art for an iphone game?
equally as your working with vectors you have the option to implement SVG's into the game as well highlander.co.uk/blog/2010/10/19/… note: this may or may not help with total memory size - but the quality will be high and you will have the ability to scale your vectors without loss of quality

personally I would re-size the scan to the required size and dpi, then trace it in photoshop recreating the image.

comment Can I recreate a model and post it?
generally from my experience as long as you not using it for any form of profit - i.e. a portfolio piece - then its considered fair game
