Exporting drawing for icon images to be used in Android for various screen sizes in a not too labourious manner? thanks, a friend of mine recently told me something similar. He said that photoshop is better for this. I will look into it soon. |

When you export from Adobe Illustrator cs4, is it done as png-24? thanks for the answer. I have always wanted to make Adobe Illustrator scripts to make the workflow efficient, but never got up to speed with it. I have tried both save methods; export will automatically produce different files for each artboard, but Save for web doesn't so I don't use that option. Best would be to script the save for web option to save each artboard in a separate file. |

When you export from Adobe Illustrator cs4, is it done as png-24? great answer, what would be an alternative to AdobeIllustrator? If I use slices for the artboard, I don't get separate files coming out which is needed. They always ask for hd md and ldensity. |

Objects on layer, not uniformly down scaling in Adobe Illustrator; why? as well, another question that is simple maybe; if there is a huge screen of low resolution, but it is massive, still the high density images are chosen right? |

Objects on layer, not uniformly down scaling in Adobe Illustrator; why? thanks, the Strokes & Effects is now checked in the Preferences > General and it works fine. I have Snap to Grid checked now as well to help in the manual moving of the scaled image to the artboard border/edge more easily. Is there an easy way for placing the scaled image to the artboard and to fill it? |

Exporting drawing for icon images to be used in Android for various screen sizes in a not too labourious manner? I am using the second approach as the Align to Artboard does no action. And what is strange is that some of the proportions of the objects change, eg. font size to the drawing size. I just use snap to point as I manually rescale the size of the group of objects that I copied from the large artboard. I words ok for a start other than the objects being slightly disproportional and the not snaping to the artboard boundary. (thanks!) |

Exporting drawing for icon images to be used in Android for various screen sizes in a not too labourious manner? yes, using different sized artboards and saving them as a template is very intelligent; thanks. So I put the image created on the 96x96 artboard, and the next size to do is 72x72. But then is the issue of scaling it and placing it appropriately on the smaller artboard. How do I scale it from a 96x96 to 72x72 and align it exactly as the larger image? |

methodology for cartoon animation- technique of making components to easily have movement in frames thanks again! If we do export to Flash, what other uses do they have? Do they get highlighted as objects to reference?? So in AI if the parts were not symbols they'd be seen as new objects and make the file size huge? And symbols can be manipulated, like rotations, skews etc?? |

methodology for cartoon animation- technique of making components to easily have movement in frames Gilberston, thanks for your answer. But Im not sure how symbols help. Is it that you have a symbol for a hand, nose, etc? and then place them as you wish?? |
