Images with Jagged Edges There is no drop-shadow, it is simply anti-aliased. Do you have photoshop? That way you could do it with the "polygonal lasso" tool in a matter of seconds. |

What color profile should I use when designing for iPhone? @Matt that is true, but you cannot tell all the users who are visiting the website or something to adjust their contrast to yours. Unless you only view it on your own iphone and own monitor... in that case it is true |

What color profile should I use when designing for iPhone? @Phil ofcourse brightness influence your colors. Apart from that every monitor is based on RGB. Dont know if that helps you... |

What color profile should I use when designing for iPhone? This is basically impossible. Since it depends on how the monitor/iPhone settings are set by the client. Brightness/contrast/gamma etc. Somebody correct me if i am wrong please.... since this is how it works for PC. |

How do I make rectangular photos square? never stretch since you are dealing with products. The customer will think that in this case the products are a tat wider then they are in real life. You do not want to "deceive" your potential clients. Best way is the second suggestion. You could also use the rectangle selection tool and select the part that you want while holding shift |

Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for web design ? Not talking about tools, talking about programs. And ofcourse you cannot use only 1 program for webdesign. How would you code otherwise. Still illustrator is not for webdesign, despite what you may think |

Remove parts of a picture in photoshop Same as the other answer. This leaves traces and therefor in my opinion not the correct answer |

Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for web design Still do not agree. All big webdesigners i know including me (not stating that i am big btw) are using photoshop for webdesign. Icons only intended for webdesign are also made in photshop. Why? Photoshop simply has more abillities for raster. I myself do web and print. When doing web, i use photoshop. When doing print I use both. And beside that it stuns me that you state that buttons are made in illustrator (vector). It really is not intended for that. I can do way more in photoshop. As a matter of fact i can make everyting in PS that is made (and better) with illustrator, just not vector. |

Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for web design This is not right. The question is about webdesign. Vector is not needed for webdesign, webdesign is pixelbased only. Your metaphore is funny, but misplaced. The answer is that you only need photoshop for webdesign. Now on the other hand if you are also planning to do print, then i would buy illustrator to. |

Remove parts of a picture in photoshop I also stated that the answer is the right one. Besides that i stated that also the stamp tool could be used. |

Remove parts of a picture in photoshop actually this is pretty poorly done, but the answer is right. You can also use the stamp tool for this. |
