Image that looks different on black background and on white Dithered overlay of one image over another. Every odd pixel is transparent and that image is overlaid over you original as Joonas mentioned. It was a "trend" a few years back which only worked in IE as internet explorer had placed a dithered mask over the image. That hid one of the images and lets the other one shine through. CSS LetterPress Effect You can also use the same text color but use an RGBA value for that, that way it is darker, the texture shines through a bit and it adds to "realism" of the letterpress. so you could use: color: rgba(000,000,000,0.4); |
