comment Best sans serif webfont that display well on Windows and Mac
Hi @shannonmac it's definitely worth mentioning and relevant here but as Scott says, it's not an answer. I will flag for it to be moved to a comment. Welcome to GD SE. :)

comment Do I need to create my images at twice the pixel dimensions on a retina display?
@horatio that's what I read it as and sort of edited it towards, I could be wrong. I personally don't have a retina display to check, whilst it seems basic it is a valid question that I also wanted to know the answer to. My instinct was no - it'd be counter intuitive, but an absolute answer helps to confirm it. I may have completely misread and distorted the question though.

I think much of your answer does still apply but you've approached the whole task from the opposite end and I'm personally confused as to whether the OP should/shouldn't be increasing the size of their graphics because they're using a retina display. So does a retina display affect the visible size of elements in Photoshop? Does the OP need to double their pixel dimensions when creating the images to make them look the same as they would on a non-retina display?

comment How to make this hand-colored drawing even more fancier?
(@S.E.Overlords, Last comment I'll make! Promise!) The things you've mentioned in your last comment is exactly the kind of elaboration I was hoping for. One constructive theme that I think all your images touch on and share is their abstract nature. I think it's relevant here but I wouldn't know where to start on an answer like that.

When you hover over an image on Shutterstock you get 2 icons, the left lightbulb is to 'add to lightbox', the right arrow is to download. When signed in to Shutterstock you can create a lightbox full of images and then send a link to others to come and see it. The link and lightbox are temporary though. I would've created one but I'm not signed up to Shutterstock.

I usually prefer to leave a comment or nothing at all if I don't think I can add much to a question. I get that you can't comment images, but you could have made a lightbox and commented a link to that. I honestly don't see how this helps the OP any more than they could have helped themselves.

Tried to clarify, scaling might not be a necessary tag here

I don't think the OP is asking how to create images for retina displays but instead how to create images on a retina display for standard displays.

Hey Ilan, you're quite a busy person on GD and it's great to have you here. I must point out though, that this does not really answer the question. There is almost no text but rather a collection of images that would help spark ideas. Unfortunately that is not what the OP is asking; if you could relate the images back to the question with some analysis it could be considered a decent answer.

Must add that by 'it looks primitive', I mean a primitive style if it were created by an adult. For children it is nothing short of perfect. :)

comment Critique: How can I improve my logo design?
I think when presenting them as comparisons of each other they should definitely all be shown at a common size. With all the different sizes there it's hard to make a fair comparison between tiny #8 and huge #4.

I feel inadequately informed and as such I must ask: what does TOC mean for the uninitiated?

@user568458 Have you seen the trailer for that new film Good Will Hunting? It looks good, I'm going to see it when it comes out in the cinema.

comment Icon help - 'Delivered Fully Assembled'
It makes sense and I can't think of any other possible meaning for it to convey, so the only question would be is it easily understandable? Hard to judge while it's in this context (explained here).
