comment How do I convert a .png blurred background into a compressed .jpg one without introducing artefacts?
I can see some color change in my image... I guess that's something about color profiles as this method shouldn't affect the artwork's color.

comment How to change colour of all elements of a group, at once, in Illustrator
Thank you for that @Scott. I guess to use another object's colour I would have to add its colour to swatch library first.

Thank you very much @Scott. Very powerful technique. It seems that if you want to apply the same colour as another object you can include it in the objects "pool" and drag it's colour swatch into the New color box. This way could be a little bit tricky if there are many similar colours in the pool. I'm not sure how to guarantee that the new colour I want to apply is the same as of my source (if I don't want to input the colour values)... PS. I don't have enough reputation yet to upvote answers.

Thanks again @Lollero. I'm sorry if my question was too confusing. I found already that the Direct Selection Tool mentioned by you is one of the ways (if you be so kind to update your answer I will accept it). I found the source of the problem and will post it in few hours (when I'm allowed). The "circle in the layer" technique didn't work in case of my object. It is a very good advice to use global swatches right from the beginning.

Thank you very much @Lollero. I learned quite a very useful technique. However my problem was slightly different: I couldn't apply a swatch to all sub-objects at once.

comment How can I set Photoshop default unit for free transfom?
Similar with me, I also tied to find the way, but with no success. Very often I need to measure the size of objects and each time I restart Photoshop the units change back to %, which is not useful at all for me. I thought there could be some configuration file that I could edit, but I couldn't find anything like that. Anyway thank you for the right-click trick - helps a bit.
