Hello, I'm a Designer and Front-End Developer. I design and build front end systems and interfaces for the web, and graphics and layout for print. I work full-time for a wonderful organization called appendTo.
I write some times, teach, speak and have some side projects too. I love Jesus, am a proud father and husband, and am also a B-boy, skater, and Steeler fan. I've been to Kenya three times and my Kikuyu name is Mwaura. Sushi is probably my favorite food.
Now that you know so much about me why don't you say hi!

How to edit pdf files in Photoshop without bloating the file size? You could also use InDesign. |

How can I remove a space between two words and still make it accessible? Probably is the best way to accomplish this, since CSS doesn't affect how Google sees your page or screen readers. And it's most appropriate because the markup is still semantically meaningful, while the CSS is only affecting presentation. |

How can I remove a space between two words and still make it accessible? Not "ex", "em". Em is the relative measurement to the width of the inherited font-size. |

How can I remove a space between two words and still make it accessible? Since this has to do with code, I'm not sure why it was migrated to the Graphic Design forum. |

Illustrator: Opacity Mask doesn't scale (i.e. follow vector art when scaling up/down) That will do it every time. Same thing in Photoshop, too. |

Is there a way to copy guides from one Photoshop document to another? Ugh. Sadly - no. |

Illustrator: Snap at some distance from existing objects you can also specify distances in pixels in Illustrator. |

Illustrator: Border effect for a path Sadly it doesn't appear there is. Unless you tinker with Offset Stroke some - although I've had a heck of a time really understanding how it works. |

How do I create symmetrical curves on vector shapes in Photoshop? This is the point where I get frustrated with Adobe for making software that is supposed to appeal to the broadest possible audience, rather than a truly remarkable tool that can fairly easily accomplish any technical task you throw at it. |

Photoshop produce a specific effect Also. to achieve the level of random lighting that the actual diamonds have, instead of one diamond, you could do four, or six, and make some of them seem to shine brighter. |

Creating a bokeh-like background effect in Photoshop Sorry Jack, I'm not understanding your question. What do you mean by how to "roll in"?? Do you mean how to join their site as an author? And thank you for the kind words. |
