comment Is programming a website for mobile first really necessary?
@DavidMulder Making separate mobile infrastructures is the opposite of RWD. Anyways, you should read AMP's documentation: "AMP is a way to build web pages for static content that render fast" ampproject.org/docs/get_started/about-amp.html I'll leave it there.

@DavidMulder Yes, but the trend isn't to replace RWD. These new tools are only for static content (like news articles).

@DavidMulder AMP is not a trend, and it has not been designed to replace RWD. There's a great article that explains why, here: responsivenews.co.uk/post/131144968568/…

@cimmanon You're absolutely right. Thanks for alerting me to that. I've swapped it out for an example that failed Kadlec's testing instead.

Are you looking for software that you can use on a site, or a tutorial for you to use with something like Photoshop?

This is a great answer until he got the bit about ADDING FOR DESKTOP. If a mobile user doesn't need the feature (and they account for at least half, if not more of your visitors these days), then you should seriously question if the feature is needed at all. You should only be building one site, not two, as the answerer acknowledges.

Is this a question about design or programming? The two are different and one of them isn't suited for GraphicDesign.SE

comment How to convert a WOFF2 webfont into a TTF desktop font?
@DA01 Also, it's worth noting that you can have files like TTC (True Type Font Collections) which do allow several fonts to be included in one file: wikiwand.com/en/TrueType#TrueType_Collection

@DA01Again you misunderstand me. I'll try again: Sometimes different font weights are stored in separate files that cannot be used without the main font file. So for example: Times Regular works fine on its own, but Times Bold will not work unless Times Regular is present. Not all fonts, but some desktop ones. I hope that clears it up for you.

@DA01 No you misunderstand. Sometimes different font weights are tied to a main font file and cannot be used separately. (Also, I assume you meant desktop fonts.)
