@Scott I suppose in that context, it could be that you cut the service you offer i.e. for that price you don't get the luxury of our copy-editing; copy has to be provided as final/approved, no amendments once it's been run into the document; all images have to be provided (without the luxury of access to our extensive stock catalogue); offer a more cost-effective stock quality for the print. I guess one of the points was that once the client knows your cutting the service to achieve his price, they may 'all of a sudden' find the money in their budget.
