You might find these helpful.

comment What is the font used on PHP.net to show code?
@Brendan It seems to me like he is trying to recreate the php.net syntax highlighting in his coding application... or partially anyways..

If your pngs are supposed to have transparent background, I wouldn't recommend conversion. I would probably look into other, more automatic ways of saving the images, rather than convert them.

comment zooming sends me 'inside' the model
The question is a bit unclear to me. I think your question might be about one of these two: A) Your camera view is stuck in inside the model. Try (Ctrl+shift+E) - The tool icon is like a magnifying class with arrows pointing outwards B) You are not able to zoom in small enough increments and you always end up zooming too far or not close enough. Try the zoom tool (Z) and drag the cursor up and down to zoom

comment What file format for browser-friendly animation, e.g., on Dropbox homepage?
@boardbite They are using svg images to mask out / animate things. For example the div.doc element has svg image that masks out 3 rows of text from the background image (document img) within that div. The svg has 3 polygons that each form one solid line with the background color, therefore hiding those 3 text rows. When the animation starts, the polygons start to shrink down from left to right, revealing the letters one by one.

comment Is it possible to automatically remove the same object from every page in InDesign?
Like @Ryan almost said, if the object exists in a master page, then it is easy to remove from any number of pages. Another method would be to make alayer for this specific object and then remove the layer and the object is removed from every page.

comment Move canvas pixel by pixel
In photoshop it is centered in fullscreen, but if you pan or zoom, you need to center it again. In photoshop you can do that with Ctrl+0 and Ctrl+1 or alternatively with the panning tool, right click document + fit to screen and right click document + 100%. Maybe you can do something similar in gimp.

comment Can I automatically replace missing fonts by other fonts in inDesign?
If I understood you correctly, the Find font feature does exactly what you want. This is how you use it though: 1. Choose a missing font from the Font information section. 2. Below choose the replacing font. 3. Click Change all button. ––– Repeat these steps for each missing font. When you're done, press the done button... ––– I would then use Paragraph styles to edit the tracking settings.

comment Move canvas pixel by pixel
That was my first thought actually. ––– I don't know much about gimp, but I'm thinking that there probably isn't a function that nudges canvas 1px. Maybe there's another way though. I'm not sure how the gui is supposed to be positioned in this setup you have, but in photoshop there is a Fullscreen view mode in which the canvas can be/is centered in the screen.

Moving the canvas exactly 1 px seems oddly specific. I'm super curious... why?

comment Photoshop Script change each successive image
Based on the photshop cc javascript reference pdf I'd say no. Not directly anyways. Example code says: applyRadialBlur(amount, blurMethod, blurQuality) None of these three arguments control the location. ||| You could perhaps get around it by adding extra whitespace to the document before applying the radial blur.

comment Smoother animation in Photoshop?
I guess there's that restriction for new users. Just host it somewhere like imgur, dropbox, etc... And post the url here. Someone will edit your answer to include the image. Just make sure it's not adult content or somehow offensive. -- Chances are that After Effects would be better for what you are doing. Even if you are not doing anything like this graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/31207/… that answer gives a pretty good insight on basic stuff you need to know to animate in AE.

comment Removing checkbox frames in Acrobat?
Mark, make this an answer and select it as the correct answer when you can. ( I believe there is something like 8h waiting period before you can answer your own question. ) It's better for the site if the question has a correct answer and you get some rep for figuring it out yourself.

The only thing bothering me here was how the first i, e, c and o have wider letter spacingg than all the other letters.

I'd like to think there is automatic way do this, but as long as the shape is asymmetrical, I just don't see how.

comment Custom page numbering in InDesign
Ok @Bakabaka. Only because it answers the question directly, but in turn you need to convert your indb comment into an answer. I feel it's definitely the better answer cause it's easier to manage ( ...and way better, depending on the situation ) and I think people would benefit so much if that answer was attached to this question. I mean if you haven't used it before, it's not at all obvious how indb can help manage separate documents all the while keeping your numbering super easy to manage.

To answer the initial question; yea, you can do that. 1. Right-click the first page and select Numbering and section options... 2. There you can find Start page numbering at:. But yea, book is often the smart choice.
