comment Shortcut not working for me
Yea, the description is kinda confusing. It does sound like there is some sort of button mix-up there, but another thing to note is that you're supposed to click the layer thumbnail, not the text section of the layer. You can also do it by right clicking the thumbnail and choosing Select pixels.

comment Auto-crop multiple images to get same frame
Sorry. Didn't really even think about it, just assumed. I have no idea about Gimp. Maybe see if any of these answer help: photo.stackexchange.com/questions/12724/…

Possible duplicate of Crop multiple images to match them up in Photoshop?

comment I am trying to remove the background from the image in PS
I would probably go with Magnetic lasso with this one. Otherwise I might go with layer Masks, but the quality of at least the example image is not super good quality and there's that strong shadow. Magnetic lasso tool should work pretty fine with Select > Refine edge.

comment Double Page Spread Bleed
That said, there are some methods people have come up with, to handle bleeds with Facing pages, such as: Using page tool to make a gap between the pages or Separating pages to their own pasteboards, while keeping the spreads. I don't like either of these. The first one is still not so great, if you like to use the pasteboard. In the second one, page position is weird and I don't like it. It's difficult to add pages while using these methods.

comment Double Page Spread Bleed
Unless it makes things easier for what ever reason, I always opt out of using Facing Pages. It's easier to work with, even though you don't have master spreads. So if I for example want to apply a master to every second page for numbering or what ever, I generate a list of numbers elsewhere ( 1, 3, 5, 7... ) and use Apply master and just paste in the list. Call me crazy, but I like the freedom of having one page in each pasteboard.

comment How to free transform only part of object/path?
This shouldn't happen, unless you switch to Move tool for example... And it does look like you have direct selection tool selected, after you zoom out. You shouldn't see the bounding box with Direct selection tool selected. Makes me think think this could be one of those things that could be fixed by trashing the preferences. Unless there's something I'm missing.

comment Step and repeat for offset path - Illustrator
This is a really good way to do it, but also you can giveOffset path a shortcut. Since the window keeps the last inserted value, it's about as fast to make multiple offsets quickly this way, compared to an Action with a single offset. If I wanted to add like 20+ offsets to multiple objects, I might record the action by using the shortcut.

comment Illustrator: How to avoid the double rectangle when using two fills in one object?
I don't know what I'm looking at. If you mean the 1px offset on the corners, then maybe that could be caused by the GPU preview. It causes plenty of weird graphical glitches at times.

comment How to make an action that saves the opened psd as a jpeg in the same folder
Can't do that with actions only. You could do most of it with actions, but instead of recording the save, record launching a script. It's relatively easy to get the code for saving a file from script listener, which you could then modify to get the current file path: app.activeDocument.path.

comment Why does Photoshop have a horizontal scrollbar on narrow but long documents and how to disable this?
The why would probably convenience. You can place the document anywhere inside the window area, instead of it always being stuck in the center. If you want to get rid of the scrollbars, you can try the two other screen modes ( Hotkey: F ).

comment Photoshop Text Dipping In Line - Can't Fix
I was able to recreate it, by ever so slightly using Edit > Transform > Skew, to move the right side downwards a bit.. The text had to be relatively small ( 200% zoomed in the example image ), for this to occur. The smaller the text, the bigger the impact something like skew will have, with just a small small adjustment. I don't know if this was the cause, but maybe.

comment Any plugins or scripts that makes guides automatically for a page size in InDesign?
I don't know how your document is setup and what not, but couldn't you make a master page, where you once manually create the guides once and then apply that master page to all pages you want to contain those guides?

comment How to use a vector mockup with perspective?
Maybe something like: Make it into a symbol, apply 3D rotate effect and apply clipping mask to constrain it. Then you'd double click the symbol in the symbols panel to edit the contents or with a raster image, relink it in the links panel.

James, it is kinda extreme, but it's also not the smallest of errors to rotate it accidentally and then duplicate that around. What you could have also done, is draw a line along one of the long edges of a text layer from left to right, with the Ruler tool and check the angle value it gives. Then select all affected layers and use this script. This is not the most reliable, as it relies on you drawing the ruler line spot on, but it should get you close enough to make it look normal again.

comment Scaled multiple paths when creating shape of segment Illustrator cs6
No idea how it would be happening on it's own. For all I know this could have been a visual glitch, but... this does kinda look like what you can do with the tilde key. Which, in non us keyboards is not the tilde key. It might be the key below Esc, but it could . Before you click with the Rectangle tool for example, you hold down that key and if you then click and drag with mouse button.

I have a feeling these example images are screenshots. What happens if you try to save the file in like jpg format and preview it outside of photoshop? It could be just a rendering bug. Various small and obscure bugs in Photoshop can be taken care of, by deleting the preferences. You could try that. You can do that by holding the following shortcut keys immediately after launching PS. WIndows: Alt+Control+Shift Mac : Alt+Cmd+Shift.'
