comment Illustrator script to export eps files to black/transparent only pngs
If you could provide an example file, that would be great. To me it sounds like you have a white vector fill on top of the object, which masks out a portion of it. However, when you convert that to .png, you are left with solid white color instead of transparency. If it's anything close to that, you should be better off "removing" it, before you convert the file to a raster format. Just sounds like a poorly made mask to me.

Could you post example images of what you want, what you are trying to do and what is happening?

comment Is there a way to toggle paintbrush in Photoshop by holding a key down?
Oh yes, almost forgot. Alternatively your keyboard may come with software that can do this. For example all Logitech G series keyboards can do this ( Although using one of the G keys ). Many gaming keyboards should be able to do this.

I guess if you'd set B button, some key combination or macro key to serve as mouse button 1, then yes. If your keyboard doesn't come with application that can do that sort of stuff, there are third party applications that will let you do that. But I have to ask why?

comment I can't save my files as a .png in Photoshop CS6
Try to reset photoshop preferences. On mac press hotkeys: Cmd+Alt+Shift and click to open photoshop. Keep pressing the keys until it asks for confirmations on wether or not you wanna reset. --- On windows: Ctrl+Alt+Shift. I believe on windows you have to start opening it and then immediately press those hotkeys, cause otherwise it should open windows application properties or something.

@newyuppie Oh yeah. When you try to delete a master, it does say that the master is in use, if it is, but it doesn't say where.

comment PSD to PNG - good software or website to download all the components?
If the OP puts himself in this situation twice without a solution, then that is his own fault. How about: Don't receive filetypes you can't open and don't agree to jobs you can't finish. -- As a temp solution, this is just fine.

If its creator has already prepared the assets by naming layers like: logo.png, image.jpg and so on, there might be little hope in slicy if you have mac.

comment How to scroll in the layer menu while grabbing a layer?
I'm guessing you are talking about photoshop, since your last question was about photoshop. In photoshop there is Layers > Arrange and in there: Send to front, Send forward, Send backward, Send to back. If you don't have US keyboard, you most likely need to change the shortcut keys. Send forward and Send backward "jump over" collapsed groups.

comment Indesign: Find which pages apply certain masters
@newyuppie You're welcome. It does seem like a thing that could have been easy for adobe to implement, but at the same time, I couldn't really think of a situation where I would need such list. Out of curiosity, can you say what you need it for?

comment How can I combine multiple PDF files into one?
@SilentAssassin If your text is not sharp, I'd have to guess that there's either something off in your Acrobat page display settings or the text is actually a raster image. Generally I wouldn't create pdf's in photoshop unless I have to. If you can, use Indesign or Illustrator. If I'd have to, I'd use text layers and shape layers to maintain scalability in the pdf.

For future projects in Photoshop CS6 or higher: Use Window > Character styles and/or Window > Paragraph styles.
