comment What kind of animations can I use in flat design? Is it wrong to combine 3D animations with a “flat style”?
I mean @DA01 nominating himself/herself for moderator

If only @DA01 were a moderator, I'd support that!

Its a bit hard to answer this because I'm not seeing any data in your page now. Could you post a screen shot of the school schedule before the transition, and then one after the transition?

@C.Wang instead of making a separate question you should Edit this one.

@Philip have you tried copying the part in question again? I know sometimes I get going so fast the copy didn't process (or I misclicked the ctrl+c without realizing it). Sounds silly, but have you tried that without restarting?

comment Exporting a 3DS file in Inventor Fusion
Unfortunately this isn't really on topic here. There's been a few attempts to get a 3D Fabrication StackExchange up, but none have generated enough interest. You might want to try searching Google for another forum, or maybe see if someone in the blender.stackexchange chat can help: blender.stackexchange.com

comment How do I start designing a dynamic shadow in Text?
@RandomO'Reilly I just posted a pretty comprehensive answer including the ribbon effect. I'm just curious why Raven calls that "dynamic shadow"

We've had conversations on titles and what to do about some of them. I'm curious before editing why do you call this a "dynamic" shadow? I've never heard it called that but if it helps others find it then we'll leave it there.

comment Have there been any attempts to improve the design of spreadsheets?
Now when you start talking about this "noisy" stuff I have no clue what you mean? Too many menus for you? The grid defaults too small for you? What does that even mean?

comment Have there been any attempts to improve the design of spreadsheets?
@VadimBerman to your comment directly after mine "so you're saying that..." yes. Just as you cannot say a square doesn't always fit, sometimes you need a circular node. That's all well and good but it doesn't change that the original object was a square and the second object is not a square (its a circle). Even if they carry the same function for your particular use.

comment Have there been any attempts to improve the design of spreadsheets?
@VadimBerman Merriam Webster's defines Spreadsheet as "a computer program that calculates numbers and organizes information in columns and rows" --- you can rethink ways to manage data which I said... in databases and other tools. But you can't rethink a spreadsheet because it is by definition a series of rows and columns. If you use graphs and nodes then it is not a spreadsheet.

comment In Interface Design, are the finer details really as important as the general ones?
Your question is more about UX then Graphic Design because it is asking about how users interact with subtle things. If you look at that tag the questions that remain open here and get answers are generally icon design and styling questions. Yours is much more "macro" and therefore belongs on UX not here.

comment What is the name of hobby grade equipment to create photos where the background can be easily removed?
@superluminary the original question doesn't in any way ask for a shadow on a white background. It asks for being able to create a transparent background. There is a distinct difference.
