comment Text hyphenation in iOS apps
I would think that with the limited screen width on the iPhone, justifying and using hyphens would reduce fatigue, by letting the reader's eyes perform fewer saccades to read the same length. Look at the iPhone Kindle app for instance. This is a small detail to fix, but a major discrepancy on Apple's part.

comment Photoshop CS5 Polygon Tool smooth corners “too smooth”
You can try zachzum's workaround instead then. Draw the polygon as a path instead of a shape layer first. Then convert it to a selection. At this point you do what zachzum said. Then you can convert the selection back to a path which you can use for the shape layer's clipping mask. This won't necessarily give as clean a result, but it'd work.

identifont.com is another tool where you answer questions about the font's characteristics rather than relying on OCR.

comment Image quality - Export vector icon to PNG vs resize PNG
The ideal solution would be a batch tool that you could point at all your .ai files. It would then loop through each file and export 3 PNGs (16, 32 and 48) per .ai file input. If you're on a Mac, and familiar with writing Applescript, this is pretty simple to do. Adobe's scripting resources for Illustrator (includes Applescript): adobe.com/devnet/illustrator/scripting.html

comment How to apply adjustment layer to layer with effects
That's a good one. Much easier than editing smart objects.

comment How to apply adjustment layer to layer with effects
Interesting question. I'd like to know this as well. When not clipped, adjustment layers will apply to effects, but when they are clipped they won't. The workaround I use if I need to preserve the edit-ability of the layer is to convert it to a Smart Object and then clip the adjustment layer with it.
