What are recommended resolutions, sizes and ratios for designing Windows 8 apps mockups? That seems to be mostly for desktop. I'm currently working on the first wireframes, so I'm wondering more about the size for smartphones, but for the mockups mainly. I'll edit the question so it's clearer. |

Upload Instagram profile pic - crispness? You will have better luck asking in an Instagram dev forum. Unless one of us has faced the same exact issue, we can't really answer your question. It's not graphic design, it could maybe be web, or it could be something else. My guess is, there must be a recommended size for the image. Try with different ones (110x110, 220x220, etc) and compare the results. |

Estimate number of characters to truncate You can't give the box a fixed width? In JS I'd normally use just a character count. Why do you need the box to act this way? |

How can graphic design help improve internal communications? @Ryan The way information is distributed inside the company. One side of it could be productivity. I imagine something like a graph showing the self-evaluation for productivity of a certain month, and a following of it. I'm not sure either, the question should perhaps be rephrased to "how can I use graphic design internally?" |
