Awesome. How do you set up your gutters? Do you create your text frames at the full width of each panel and add inset spacing, or do you just adjust the width of the entire text frame to create gutters?

comment Photoshop CS5 Polygon Tool smooth corners “too smooth”
Of course, and that's why Johannes's answer is the accepted one. The thing is, your suggestion is missing steps which are required for this to make sense as an answer to the question, which is why I made the comment. Your suggestion required the OP to convert his polygon into a selection first—without doing this, the steps you describe would be impossible. Just so you know, I never down-voted your answer, I only made the comment.

Thanks for the answer—I think this is probably the safest solution to cover my bases. Direct communication with the fabric producers is pretty hard, so I think that if I give them several options and clear instructions, they'll be able to work with what I send them.

@DA01, I will definitely ask them, I was just curious if anyone knew already. This is through a factory in China, who makes the product from fabric that they buy from a fabric company, so it'll be a little difficult to get good information, but I'm sure it will work out.

It wouldn't be a bleed in the true sense, it would be basically be a little extra of the pattern so that you can see where the pattern begins to repeat, and the crop marks would define the actual boundaries of the repeating pattern. Visually, it makes more sense to me to include the extra "bleed," but technically it probably makes more sense to have the pattern cut off exactly at the boundaries, and then maybe have a separate image of a larger area of the pattern showing it repeating.

comment How to keep Photoshop history snapshots?
Hey Alan, there's no way to send you a direct message, so I'm going to write here instead. Did you get the email today about Gridiron Flow being discontinued? This is what I hate about "Software as a Service," it sounds like the program is going to become non-functional after December of this year. I'm really upset about this, and I'm wondering what to do.

comment Technically, what are the prime gotchas that could affect your logo further down the road, if it incorporates justified* fx & blend mode treatments?
What's wrong with this question? Is it too broad? I think it would be a good discussion. Perhaps it would be better if it was limited to the technical parts of his question, rather than design preferences (which are more a matter of opinion)
