Create rounded button with inset edge, gradient and inset text with Gimp I took a look at the tutorial. The first three steps seem to explain how to make a circle and a gradient, which is part of what I need. Thanks! How to make the inset - think that is the word for it - lines and inset text is not explained there as far as I can see. This is the first answer to this question in weeks and one that is about doing this in Gimp. Very much appreciated! |

Feedback on Basic Website Logo Thank you very much. Question is closed as it seemed to have not been clear enough, but you understood it all very well. Thanks again. Will rework logo after a chat with the owner |

Make sidebar menu clearer Removed the top bar one home as it is empty there anyways and I must say it looks way better. Hope the client will agree. |

Make sidebar menu clearer Made some changes. Added a background now: imageshack.us/photo/my-images/444/vwhorn.png and have an empty top nav bar. Also removed "Welcome" above the sidebar as it was confusing. Going to discuss the empty top menu though as I think it is kind of awkward. |

Make sidebar menu clearer Thanks. The sidebar would be to lead all to department a, b, c with all different horizontal menus showing different pages. The sidebar on those pages will show the children of the page the sidebar is loaded on. So do think that is clear enough. |

Make sidebar menu clearer Thanks for all the comments. I do agree aesthetics come into play, but it is still good to hear some opinions. I am going to go for a background color and see if the client likes that better. |

How can I improve these secondary pages without a radical redesign Just a little update. Going to add all content to a test server with a new theme which will incorporate the homepage, but which will have a greatly adjusted layout for all the secondary pages. Thanks again for these great tips! |
