What I do on StackOverflow and some of the computing-related StackExchange sites

While I occasionally answer questions, and comment on questions and answers, I've taken up much work on here that makes me a de facto copy editor. I spend a lot of time reviewing questions and answers, and fixing formatting, spelling, grammar, and vocabulary where I can to help maintain the high content quality of content on SO.

General about me section

I'm a high school student, and have spent hundreds of hours over the last three years working in web content creation applications, like Dreamweaver, using languages including HTML 5, CSS 3, PHP 5 (along with MySQL), and JavaScript, and over a hundred hours programming desktop and mobile programs and applications, predominantly in C++ and Objective-C. I'm also a DSLR photographer, and prefer Sony Alpha cameras as weapons of choice.

Current projects

Software

As of February 2013, I'm working on a multi-language calculator called PolyMath. The project's repository is currently private. PolyMath will be developed in four languages: C and C++ for the command line, and Objective-C and C# for versions with GUIs in Mac OS and Windows, respectively. The calculator will include nearly a hundred functions, from things as simple as addition, to basic differential and integral calculus. Once the project is finalized, I'll continue adding functionality. The command line versions will include 2D graphing tools, while the versions with GUIs will include a 3D graphing capability. I also intent to begin work on a UNIX shell version. Naturally, the command line versions will include Easter Eggs, in the form of either hidden messages or simple games. I'm also undertaking two sister projects, PolyPhys and PolyChem, which deal with physics and chemistry. Both will be released after PolyMath, and only in GUI versions.

Hardware

I've started working with my first Arduino board, an Uno R3. I don't have any particular projects in mind, but I'll probably start with an LED cube or something. When I get a Mega board sometime in the Spring, I'll get to work on an army of giant death peaceful robots.

I recommend that you start by basing your design off boilerplates and bootstraps. The Twitter bootstrap and HTML5 boilerplate are good places to start. For eCommerce, there's no point in reinventing the wheel. Try out software like Zen Cart.

I've tried both methods; unfortunately, the problem persists. Is a complete reinstall of Illustrator necessary?

I'm sure that a few minutes of Googling will wield a practical script; that failing, I'm sure the nice folks at StackOverflow will be more than happy to help you out. Just try to raise your accept rate; 50% is kind of low.
