comment UI design help needed?
Imagine you want to build a house.... now imagine you ask a group of contractors to tell you how. Do you think they could cover everything on a message board? I mean electrical, plumbing, framing, foundations, roofs, HVAC? I applaud your eagerness to learn, but you are really asking way too much here. If you use Google, and ask some of your questions there, you'll find useful information to get you started.

comment Lengthening a curve, without changing the width of a line
Months? Really? Have you heard of Google? Have you been looking in your refrigerator for "months" hoping an answer would magically appear? Because when I spend 20 seconds and search.... The first Google result I get when I ask..... "how to lengthen curve in Illustrator" answers this entirely.... helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/adjust-path-segments.html

comment Is it inappropriate to ask for royalties on a logo design if the client decides to print the logo on products and sell them?
I think much of this is confusing logo design with other work. Logo design isn't like other projects.

comment How do I carve a text shape or “negative space” into an object?
If you select all, expand, then use Pathfinder > Merge the stroke will be cut from everything. This one is similar and may help as well: graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/48900/…

comment Color Change with PDF on iDevices
Anything other than and Adobe product will almost * always* show spot colors incorrectly. Realize that only professionals are using Pantone colors... the average iOS user doesn't know or care about spot colors.

comment Working with opacities/transparency in printing
@Darth_Vader this isn't tagged with Photoshop or Illustrator so I can't close it. And... I answered it.. and then the more I thought about it.... the more I think it's just a duplicate. But I'm not 100% certain of that... maybe I'm missing something.

possible duplicate of Printing: Opacity color or transparency in Abode Illustrator

comment Pantone- Achieving Color
In reality... this is a matter of opinion. You have to visually determine what the different color model breakouts are by looking at the various colors. "By the numbers" will get you somewhat close, but ultimately it's your eye that needs to make the decision.

comment Making an image clean with 2 colors only in Photoshop
Is everything vector? If so why on earth are you using Photoshop? Did you disable anti-aliasing in the preferences?

comment Very confused about resolution
I think the piece of the puzzle you may be missing for displays is pixel density.

comment Using the Crop Pathfinder Tool on complex paths
"My car keeps pulling to the left, here's a photo of the tire... any ideas???" It's really impossible to answer why this may be happening to you without examining files -- and examining files entails technical support, which is off-topic.

comment Overlay Object With Paint, And Delete Everything Else
You need to expand brush strokes before Pathfinder will work with them.

comment Illustrator CS6- How do I draw a rectangle to perfectly fit my artboard?
And... with aligning you don't need to do any math to divide the w/h in half to set the XY correctly.... of course, you could set the 9-point origin to the top left then input an X/Y of 0 and that would work.

comment Illustrator CS6- How do I draw a rectangle to perfectly fit my artboard?
@AndrewH if you have the 9-point origin set for the center of the rectangle, then X/Y at 1 would center it on a 2x2 artboard. It all really depends upon the 9-point setting for the rectangle. If the 9-point origin is set to anything other than the center of the rectangle X/Y of 1 won't work. Aligning is just easier and less prone to errors since it uses object bounds rather than the 9-Point origin setting.

comment Seeking suggestions for this badge design
Hi Javan, thanks for your question. Critique questions are a bit of a weird fit here, because they don't always match with our intended Q&A format. Please have a peek at our guidelines for critique questions and see whether you can make yours fit those. Thanks!

comment How do I recreate this font?
I don't even understand what is being asked here. "plug in for anything text related"??? What does that mean?

comment I want to extract a logo from a picture , save it and use it in other projects in illustrator
Have you tried just using the Pen Tool?

comment I want to extract a logo from a picture , save it and use it in other projects in illustrator
So what's the question? What have you tried? Why is that not working? Raster images are often better edited in a raster application, such as Photoshop. But you could just redraw that logo in Illustrator.

comment Copyright on free work
For standard artwork I'd see your point.. but that's really not how logos tend to work. For logos the artist customarily relinquishes all rights to the final design so the client is free to use it however they wish -- which is the entire point of a logo.

comment Error rendering with photoshop
This appears to be a tech support issue and is probably better asked of Adobe.
