comment Curved dashed line in Photoshop
What version of Photoshop? Vector paths in Photoshop CS6 or newer can do this easily.

comment iOS application for viewing a Photoshop file in real time in a device?
Photoshop Touch maybe?

comment Why are two different CMYK colors printed equally?
oop... I missed the 100M :) Sorry. In that case calibration could be an issue. But I think Lauren is right.. it would need to be some severely off calibration still.

comment How to make Google Maps in Photoshop?
Customarily, maps are created in a vector application such as Illustrator or a dedicated mapping app like Cartographer. Photoshop is just the wrong tool to generate maps of that complexity.

comment Why are two different CMYK colors printed equally?
If a "mauve" (2/56/0/43) looks the same as 20% Cyan -- you've got hardware issues. They should not even be remotely close. Even a horribly calibrated system should not print them the same. Or you are color blind in some way.

comment Applying Color to Two Sides
Draw a rectangle, fill it with color... draw another rectangle, fill it with a different color.

comment Photoshop Actions: How to import multiple vector files into PS, then export such files as different names, via an action?
This doesn't really seem like a design question to me and is far more a workflow question.

comment How to delete a line of pixels in pixel preview, within illustrator?
I don't think pathfinder would be of any use here. It would be a simple matte to just move the bottom line. Why even bother with pathfinder?

comment How should I position the letters in a square logo to read “H S S C”?
I do not understand why taking on a "redesign" is even appropriate here. That is not the question being posed.

Keep the contrast above 4 and it doesn't matter what you use.

comment How to delete a line of pixels in pixel preview, within illustrator?
Move the bottom line up a tiny bit so it's actually on the pixel grid. Its currently slightly below the grid.

comment Extract Assets with CUSTOM Size, Format and quality?
How are you "exporting"? The Export command doesn't really offer assent exporting. Are you Using Save for Web? Are you using Generator??

comment Extend lined pattern in Photoshop
If possible, I'd remove the background and rebuild it from scratch. Your original image show wavy, uneven lines -- that can only really be corrected via reconstruction.

comment What web graphics formats to use?
Great @Da01 Unfortunately, I already awarded the bounty (can't undo) and to add another one it would need to be 2x as large (Retina bounty?). Things do looks spread out well -- everyone getting roughly 200+ rep for the good answers.

comment Using parametric colours within photoshop?
I don't believe this is possible in Photoshop. It's possible in Illustrator or Indesign, but Photoshop doesn't reference things like Swatches the same way the other apps do.

comment Indesign 5.5 Create elbow connector?
Not sure I understand. You should easily be able to create that path with arrows in Indesign using the Pen Tool. I don't get any "auto-close" of paths here.

comment pasting image into Illustrator
I'm not seeing this behavior in CS6 here and no longer have CS4 active to compare (Mac OS10.7.5). CS6 pastes whatever the dimensions are of the raster file and scales the pasted image based on the PPI of the raster. So.. paste a 300ppi image and it gets scaled to 24% to maintain its resolution. Perhaps trash preferences for CS6 if you aren't seeing this behavior? Or it's due to your OS and other technical issues.

comment Cooperhewitt (or other) font family loading issue in Illustrator running on windows!
I doubt that. OTF is OTF and you can't specify what a specific platform sees. You may simply have a conflict with some other font active on your system. With "free" fonts you do get what you pay for more often than not.

comment Transparent CMYK?
Transparency in the CMYk file is all set up on Photoshop... if you leave an area transparent in Photoshop, it should be transparent in Illustrator.
