I am a artist/graphic designer and artist from the Bronx. My strong suite is production work using Adobe products. Just as programmers have set ways in being efficient so do we as designers. Always design on a larger scale to avoid having to recreate. There are many unheard guidelines that help us not to reinvent the wheel. We are not a nasty bunch just misunderstood.

XML Data to InDesign for 1000+ different copies I'm assuming you're using a PC. It'll most likely run in VB Script, which I have no knowledge, where to start. In Mac, it would be an applescript. I would do the motions with Automator recording the actions than change all the static file names to variables or loops to access all the files. If the survey is in a database you can extract all the surveys in a timely fashion, end of day or every hour, or a user press. Can you tell me the exact setup and I'll write out something with links if necessary. I need more info on the actual setup. |

The name of this old burlesque-like, wanted-poster, carnival style of graphic design? A lot of the old letterings are hand drawn, It's a dig looking through old poster sites for the look you want to design. You won't find a particular font on your favorite font site that matches these. As DA01 mentions about the money, it's a retrace then decorating and manipulating the font. Good Luck in the search. |
