comment How do I blend a black-background fire image in Photoshop?
+1 for the Screen blending mode. That's the way I'd typically do something like this. Also, if the background is near black, but not black, you may need to apply a Levels change as well.

comment PSD Files: Quick Preview without opening Photoshop?
+1. This has one caveat though: Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility will have to be set to Always (under File Handling in Preferences), otherwise QuickLook shows an all white image.

comment How to use H1, H2 etc. tags properly?
There is sometimes discussion if more than one H1 tag should be used per page. Apart from that, I agree, there isn't much to it.

comment Is there a Photoshop action to create bump, normal and reflection maps for rendering software?
They're all very different things. What are you trying to create those from? Photoshop is a 2D application (with a little bit of 3D in the Extended version), so bump maps, normal maps and reflection maps aren't really its thing.

comment How do I avoid lines at top and left borders of png files exported from Illustrator
I'd recommend using Slices rather than Artboards. Slices are always pixel boundary aligned, Artboards aren't.

comment How is the artwork at Adobe.com created?
If I had to guess, I'd say you're right. Looks like they've used a 3D app to build at least the underlying image.

comment Can I blend layers by formula with brackets?
Yeah, I think so. But I don't think screen is the same as pure addition of the values? I'll edit my response.
