asked | Which Photoshop features are affected by different DPI or PPI tags? |

is it mandatory to keep 72 dpi for web design? What if I create in 200dpi? That's not true. If the documents are the same pixel dimensions, the gradients will be bit-for-bit identical. Dithering is a pixel based operation. The document's DPI tag has no effect on it. |

Gradients are fine, it's all about the way Photoshop handles layer styles and how appearance changes as you copy or move elements between documents — it scales them according to document DPI (which is a smart move, but means you have to be very careful). If you're designing for web, the best option is to set everything to 72DPI, always. |

One minor point, if that's ok: “It doesn't make any difference what ppi setting you use for web images” — Definitely true for the images themselves, but occasionally it can matter for the tools (please see my reply). |

Is it possible to have global color swatches or color styles in Photoshop? Hmm. That definitely seems scriptable. It could be insanely good. |

Is it possible to have global color swatches or color styles in Photoshop? I've just tried, and unfortunately I wasn't able to create an action for it. Imagine if you could run an action to apply changes to similar layers. I'd like that. |

How common is the capability of creating true curves? Please add a lot more detail to the question. For print? For screen? Using which software? Which platform(s)? Why do you want this? Context is important, as is detail. |

Mysterious line next to shape after saving for web in Illustrator Dragging the object off the artboard then repositioning is a terrible work around for ~$1000 software. Have you sent feedback to Adobe? |
