comment When I export an image from Illustrator, why is it a slightly different color in the exported image?
The issue with that site, is that it’s for photographers. A different approach is needed for UI and web design.

comment Photoshop Actions: Export with exact pixel size, not percentage
Can you give us a rundown of what the action is doing? There’s probably a few ways to solve it, but it’ll depend on your exact steps and desired outcome.

comment Is 32-bit color depth enough?
@joojaa Yeah, definitely. There’s other variables, too. Many displays have temporal dithering and other crazy stuff you can’t easily test for.

comment Is 32-bit color depth enough?
@WarrenYoung I’m not up to speed with recent RAW formats, so thanks for the additional info. I’ve added a bunch of info based on your comments. Also added a credit to the bottom. Thanks again.

comment What are the best mac applications for developing pixel art?
Sketch is pretty much the exact opposite of what you’d want to build pixel art in.

@digijim Good point. I'll add in a section about CMYK (just to add more confusion).

comment Using “vector-like” raster images in PDF documents
The result will depend on how the printer’s RIP interprets mono, greyscale and RGB files.

comment How to properly scale-down png assets
Bitmaps are a grid of pixels, and can not be resized without bitmap scaling artefacts. You should do everything possible to keep the elements as vector shapes.

comment Mismatch Color from Adobe Illustration & Photoshop if Saved in Android / Apple Device
Very likely related to colour profiles and colour management. Can you describe the steps in more detail? What do you mean by “I saved it on my smartphones”?

@MinimeDJ Can you please add an example file that has the issue to the original post? I'll see if I can hunt down the problem.

comment How to begin with UI design
@Rafael Photoshop does both, and it does pixel snapped vectors extremely well. Photoshop should absolutely be considered when talking about UI design. And, in terms of rendering quality, not much else comes close.

comment Export iOS Icon Sizes in Affinity Designer
I’m using slices in Photoshop to cut and export the needed regions. I believe Affinity has a similar feature of the same name. (I’ve edited my answer to provide some more info.)

comment Is there graphical editor for mac supporting non linear distortions (stretch)?
To add to @ZachSaucier’s comment: Please do your best to sketch what you’re after and add it to your question. Maybe someone here will help create it?

comment Sketch3: how do you draw a fan shape?
That will work, but depending on how you’re compositing things (and if there’s many items), you might end up with some bad edges due to the way antialiasing is composited.

comment Triple joined path - Photoshop
+1 to Scott’s comment. Depending on your requirements, there are other strategies that can work. Often, non-joined lines will be just fine, even if you need a stroke or fill that looks like it is one object.

comment Is there any tool that gives the percentage occupied by an area in an image?
Are you trying to automate the process for 100s of images, or just get an actual value for this single case?
