comment How is it possible to use raster images on billboards at such large sizes?
I got an eye test one time and she said my vision was better than 20/20 though she didn't get me any exact numbers -- I should have asked. But that's the day I learned you can have vision better than 20/20. Hawks have 20/2 vision!

Even so, being familiar with the tools provided is beneficial. While it never matters how you get the job done certain people may not be aware of certain methods and may be creating more work for themselves than need be. You need to know the tools to know which tool is best for the job.

While I agree that the tool itself may be obsolete the functionality is not. But as you've mentioned it's been wrapped into the healing brush. That being said, the functionality is still relevant and this answer should attempt to answer the question which asks for project ideas relating to this functionality.

Not sure why you were downvoted. I found your answer very informative. However it should be noted that the healing brush can replace the clone brush, even on an edge as @Neo mentions using the replace mode. (Adobe is pretty much combining the tools)

comment How can I represent photographing people's life in an iconic logo?
To me this looks like a setting you'd choose for landscape photography or as @SaturnsEye mentioned, like a placeholder. Or it could look like it has more to do with outdoor activities. I think it's too much for a logo as it is.

comment How do I make it so my website footer is always at the bottom of the page (but not sticky)?
Have you tried using height:100% to expand the content all the way down to the footer?

comment Critique: Tritium website design
I agree with the critique on the pop-up. I would add a button in the pop-up to click that will then continue on to the github page, rather than opening two things at once. Really great job on the site by the way.

comment Photoshop make texture fit shape
Well then OP might as well place the texture layer underneath and avoid all cutting/erasing work. I don't believe that's what OP meant. Then again I'm not 100% sure on it is OP wants, though my assumption is that the texture wraps seamlessly if made 3D.
