I'm a UI Developer living and working in Salt Lake City, UT.

My interests include Graphic Design, Photography, and programming.

I have had over 8+ years of experience with Photoshop and 2+ years with Illustrator.

As for computer science I'm familiar with both C# and Java as well as web development (HTML, CSS, JQuery)

Why would you have to recolor based on location?

comment How to detach size jitter and pen pressure in Photoshop
Thanks for this. A while back my tablet's pen pressure stopped working and I assumed it was the hardware. Turns out I must have accidentally flipped that switch.

This may have something to do with your color mode or color profile in Photoshop. Make sure that these are identical in both documents.

comment “Rainbow” header on web and mobile
I wouldn't call this a design pattern. It's just something some people use as a color accent, I don't think there's a hidden agenda or anything by it. It's just something -- an entity, part of the design, nothing more.

Oh shush you. I made a typo!

comment How would you represent i/o as an icon?
"Because it's too obvious" -- correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't icons be obvious?

comment Draw a rectangle of a specific size
I would just like to add that this works in Illustrator as well and it wouldn't surprise me if it worked in other Adobe products as well.

comment Tasteful Alternative to Marquee
I would suggest non-moving text. But if you have to go with anything go with flying doves and a repeatedly inverting rainbow gradient design along with a soundtrack in the background that you can't turn off.

comment Live trace an semi-transparent image?
I wouldn't necessarily want it to be blurry.

comment If I have a directory of JPEG's, how can I create one long stitched image?
It might still be better to use multiple images (maybe an image per frame) and run through those. You can still line them up horizontally. Plus if it's all one image the whole thing needs to load which could take a while. A lot of smaller files is better.

Does it matter which side the 'A' tilts to?

comment Tips for creating a mosaic of one photo from a set of photos
The thing is these types on program need those colors to work with, so if no green exists, then yeah, it'll look funny. I think you have some pretty good solutions yourself. I would try just generating it and then going black and white and seeing if that's any good.

I don't see how a letter won't get bigger when you bold it, as that's what bolding essentially is?

Genuine Fractals was bought by Perfect Resize (which I have tried!) :]

I agree with this 100% and this was my solution as well.

But since it's a raster mask won't it not scale like a vector? I need something that will scale.

comment Stop illustrator from rendering non-visible elements?
I don't know anything about smart guides. I'll have to look into it. Even if I hide all instances it still lags. I'm using CS5 for Windows 7.

"Public Domain" is the term for something that can be used for any purpose for free, without permission.
