comment Photoshop Batch Action - Relative Positioning
This needs to be done through scripting, it seems too advanced for actions. If you happen to know JavaScript you can dig through Photoshop's API and script something that can work for you.

comment Can I take images from Google image search as a base for my creations?
I had worded my answer very carelessly. I have changed it to better reflect what I meant. I apologize.

Dropbox should be OS independent.

comment How and with what software was this image created with?
I'm using Windows. This shortcut works in Chrome and Firefox, and I wouldn't be surprised if it worked in other major browsers either. I'd assume the Mac equivalent would be cmd+U, but it could be different.

comment What subtle techniques can be used to make design look better overall?
I agree with all of these comments, except for maybe saying that all of these cause a "distraction" -- but if used improperly, sure, they could be. I was just providing myusuf3 with a quick preview of some things he can play around with and experiment with. I whipped this up in about 60 seconds and should be taken with a grain of salt.

comment How to convert grayscale bitmap to one CMYK color in Photoshop?
I made my answer more clear in the fact that this isn't designed for print. The original question made no mention of print and it is a perfectly valid way to add color to a grayscale image and my answer may help someone out in the future who doesn't care about printing. At the time my answer was perfectly valid and I'm not going to retract my answer just because the question was changed making my answer "poor advice." Down voting after the question's context has changed just doesn't make sense to me. The important answer is accepted and most voted on.

Right, and it's not meant to be a solution for printers, your answer is much more qualified for that. The aim of my answer was to show how to use an exact hex-value color (or any other valued color) and easily blending it on top of something. I figure it'll help someone out in the future :)

Please don't include a "download" link, please link directly to the picture through an image sharing website such as imgur.

I can't tell you what it's called, but I can tell you the the three images use the mouse coordinates to shift each image. They probably shift on a particular scale, meaning the first image moves x amount more than the second image, which moves x amount more than the third image.

The cubes were probably made in a 3-D program. But I'm far too inexperienced for any further insight.

That is correct. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll try to develop a fix for that in the future. I appreciate the feedback!

Vectors can be scaled forever, so no need to worry about the size.

comment How big should Photoshop canvas be? (Maintaining scalability)
I wouldn't say 300 ppi is a minimum suggested all the time -- it really depends on for what you're printing. A billboard would never use 300 ppi, it would be much much lower.

I would say that if you had the option to, use a different software. There's plenty of free software that allows you to create professional presentations that do things like this. In powerPoint I see no other way of doing it than using a group of animations.

My money would be on reflection. It's just supposed to make the button "pop" more.
