You could also play with some form of grouping. Where events that have less than 24 hours between them are closer to each other and then after a 24 hour period if you do something again it'll create a new group. In between groups your could use a border, horizontal rule, different title, etc.

How do you present an icon as non-clickable on mobile app?

comment How to isolate layer effects into their own layer
I was just thinking some styles can be made with CSS, no images required. You could do an outer glow using the box-shadow property.

comment How to make a selected area with a circular border?
It's not that odd. The other programs you mentioned focus more on basic shapes and their properties. Illustrator is another great example. Photoshop is just a much broader product. But I agree that some thing are a bit lengthy. And really if you're working with JUST shapes it will always be better to work in a vector format anyway.

I'm tempted to grab that domain name just to mess with you. :p But seriously, I agree that there's should be some 'read more' text.

comment What font or typeface is used in this text that says “Johnson”?
Okay, I shouldn't have said "know for sure" but instead "maybe they might know" -- I don't work as a designer so I guess it surprises me how much clients don't keep track of any of their assets or the people that would know.

The profanity wasn't all that necessary in that video.

Have you tried asking the client? Or better, contacting the client's designer/marketing department? They would know for sure.

I assume they'd have multiple shapes.

"Why aren't you working?" "Another paper jam, seriously?" "Out of ink AGAIN?"

I'll add that into my answer, it's an important note. Thanks, @Bakabaka.

comment How to put brushes in a set?
It's also helpful to clear all the brushes before organized them to save them. Else you'll save the default brushes too, which is unnecessary.

It's a duplicate question. But yes the answers wereless than desirable on the other question. The advantage that closing due to duplication does is that it creates a link to the original, meaning that some traffic and be redirected to other possible answers.

Could you expand on that, John?

possible duplicate of Photoshop - turn white transparent, specifically preserving shadows - new issue

Because OP wants to export the image as a transparent PNG. Multiply relies on a color to be behind it.

I'm trying to follow along with this but I can't seem to get it -- I find the instructions rather hard to follow.

Yeah, I've been using it for almost 10 years now and you can learn something new every day! It's great.
