How to get a construction paper look in photoshop or illustrator Te easiest solution is to merely find a texture and overlay it. |

Specify inner glow the same way as Inner shadow? I think you've got some pretty good solutions in there. May I ask why you're against rasterizing the effects? You can also duplicate the shape, apply another style and then turn the fill to 0%. |

How to make a color APPEAR the same on different backgrounds? In your first example the colors used were all shades of gray. In your second example your purple was made to look more blue through the use of a very bright purple. Then in your yellow example you're butting yellow of whites, grays, and blacks. So what I'm saying is you need to use yellows instead to make your yellow appear the same on different backgrounds. |

How to make a color APPEAR the same on different backgrounds? You'll need to use yellows. Notice in your examples they used colors similar to the one they are trying to make look different. |

Why 3d redering, even for basic text, is so slow in photoshop and other programs when today's games can do that very easily Because when you're playing the game it's already "rendered" it just needs to load. Everywhere else it needs to be created and then displayed. |

How to make rounded corner thumbnail “ containing image of the post ”? For that, I think it would get a bit more complicated and you'd need to use Javascript. |

How to make rounded corner thumbnail “ containing image of the post ”? When designing the interface in Photoshop, just use what you're used to (use masks to do rounded images), but then when you implement that design to a webpage, use the CSS attribute. |

What to change on this webpage, to look more elegant I'd tuck them in on the side of the gray box and have them peek out when you hover over them, or make them tabs at the top of the box, or have the "Portfolio" part of the menu expand to show a sub-menu. I would also recommend making your gray box white and maybe add a subtle texture. |

client logo - large dropshadow and awkward angle - looks terrible on any media, any guidance? Is removing the white background not an option? |

How can I make a screenshot look like a photograph taken of a real surface? He's asking about how to reproduce this effect digitally. Sure, you can take a picture of the screen, that's the obvious answer. But what if you have 100 screens you want to do this too? Having a digital technique that you can batch is much faster and better. |
