comment What do users remember the most, position or color of elements?
I figured they weren't true to life, though I couldn't infer if they did or did not have icons, thanks for clearing that up.

comment Is there a way to set up text tabs in Photoshop?
Doing this for me doesn't seem to do anything. I think I'm doing it wrong.

Those other tips are helpful in just about any industry and are general good interview tips :)

comment How to intersect existing shapes in Photoshop
Although maybe poor in quality, @benoît does mention vector masks and posted a screenshot to how you might set it up. The vector mask itself would act as the intersecting shape and can be edited later.

comment Create solid shadow effect on text using Photoshop CC
What's wrong with simply duplicating the text, changing the color to black, and offsetting it behind the text?

comment Colors in Photoshop CS6/CC look different than in browser?
To add to that, I'd also say make sure you're viewing it on the same monitor as well, just to verify as different monitors will display things differently.

@JohnB I didn't even realize you asked the question too. facepalm

comment Which secondary whitespace character should I use for my seven-segment font?
You could also put the colons in their own element on the page with a set width, and forgo the white-space issue all together. Though @JohnB offers a good solution that's built right into the font.

caniuse is a good place to check browser compatibility for these types of things.

comment Pasting a selection in photoshop with a transparent border clips the transparency before snapping to grid
Yes, you could use fixed marquees to center your icons inside of each 32x32px block.

Sorry? I'm not sure I understand. If you'd like to add a stroke, add a stroke.

I tried to sweet talk them through an e-mail. I asked politely in German if they knew anything about it. So we will see if they respond. I'll write an answer if they do!

comment How do you open multiple images into a single Photoshop file?
I think this is a valuable question to have around. Besides, we accept questions about file exportation, why are we so against file importation? I also don't find this to be a tech support question as @Rachuru wasn't saying his Photoshop wouldn't start or wasn't working as intended, they just didn't know about a feature. Anyway I realize my comment isn't particularly on topic either, but I think it's a conversation worth having (here's looking at you InkSpot!)
