comment Layering silhouette using Illustrator/Photoshop
I would recommend reading into layer blending modes and layer masks.

comment Layering silhouette using Illustrator/Photoshop
I would always recommend masks over erasing / deleting parts of the layer, that way you can always go back, change it, retouch it, etc.

comment How come thumbnail doesn't show the logo?
I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because it doesn't really have anything to do with design.

"The left picture is the right one, the right picture is the weird one" -- I found this sentence really confusing. Do you mean the left picture is the correct image? Also I'm not exactly sure what you're asking here.

Honestly there's a lot of people in the field that don't hold a degree in Comp Science. While a degree may be a good "foot in the door" in reality you will get a job based on what you do / don't know.

comment Can I use the Google font 'Lato' for a logo design?
You can use it for anything. Also, you can download the non web-based font, here.

I think you'll have to do it one by one.

comment How to change the file size of images without losing photo quality using Photoshop?
Gauri, could you explain why you think/know that InDesign does a better job than Photoshop, and how? Otherwise this doesn't seem like a very helpful answer.

comment Working with physically large (150''+) canvas sizes
What are you trying to accomplish? Illustrator deals with vectors, so no matter 1 inch or 1000 feet, it's pretty irrelevant as you can infinitely scale it. Is the image you are trying to import 150in by 250in ?

comment Crop image background out?
Hey Rich, this doesn't look like Photoshop CS6, so I removed the tag. This actually looks closer to Photoshop 2 or 5 or 6. Unfortunately there's really not much help anyone can provide here, that's up to 23 years out of date. Also I'm not sure how this relates to my answer (that you linked me from). My answer has to do with exporting multiple layers from a PSD not saving a single one as a PNG. To answer your question though you'll want to go to File -> Save As... and select PNG, if that's not an option, upgrade Photoshop.

comment Export photoshop layers to individual PNG files - batch process?
@Rich I have no idea what you're asking. Which script don't you have? And what do you need? And if you have issues with the github script please open an Issue there.

What are you guys printing that requires that size and that dpi? Even billboards aren't made this large.

Did you use the first method? if so, make sure you uncheck 'trim layers'. The second method does not crop images AFAIK.

My guess is that the post maybe came off a bit spammy.

What about the history brush wasn't giving you the results you wanted? Also I recommend you look into layer masks.

comment Is there a way (without dragging) to move layer into specific group in Photoshop?
Not sure what you're working with, but it sounds like you should split your PSD so that you're not working with so many layers.

comment How to extend the background of an image?
And that may be, depends on if they want to preserve the original background or not. I didn't vote you down, but I figured I might provide a comment as to why I think you may have been voted down.

Honestly I wouldn't use puppet warp for animation, at least not for what you need it for. While I unfortunately cannot offer you any good alternatives, as I'm not an animator, I am familiar with puppet warp and that just seems like the last thing I'd want to use for it.
