Using Photoshop Effects in Illustrator CS6 Yeah, but I start here with a raster image and NOT a vector shape, so it doesn't apply. Thanks for adding the info though, it helps. |

Using Photoshop Effects in Illustrator CS6 Oh, and what about Illustrator's very own effects? Are they vector? |

Using Photoshop Effects in Illustrator CS6 @user568458 - By output, I meant the output that appears in Illustrator right after I apply the cutout effect. I needed vector output because when I'm going to be making this poster I'm gonna make it something like 6ftx3ft and print it at 300ppi because I am sticking it on my wall home and everyone's going to look at it very closely - so I'd need really large images. |

Using Photoshop Effects in Illustrator CS6 Oh thanks a lot, after applying the cutout effect I can just use image trace to get a vector image which I can then INFINITELY EXPAND - the virtues of illustrator, I guess. |

Will text laid out on an image in Photoshop, when printed look pixelated? Or sharp enough? I actually wanted to know that just changing the resolution(of say a 1024x768px) to 300ppi wouldn't mean I'd have to work with giant images - which I think is right now, no? And thanks a lot! You really helped me to a great extent! |

Will text laid out on an image in Photoshop, when printed look pixelated? Or sharp enough? I tried transferring a wallpaper I made in Photoshop at 72ppi into a new image i created at 300ppi - both had the same resolution 1024x768px and the 72ppi image filled the covered totally the image with 300ppi, so how come I'll have to work with gigantic images? |

Will text laid out on an image in Photoshop, when printed look pixelated? Or sharp enough? One very last question - I make an image in photoshop with the settings(in photoshop) width 12 inches and height 30 inches at 300 pixels/inch - when I print this image at 300 ppi, will it be the same size?...and sorry if I am annoying you... |

Will text laid out on an image in Photoshop, when printed look pixelated? Or sharp enough? And I tried making an image at 1024x769px at 300 pixels/inch and when I saved it, it was still that res: 1024x768px. Please explain to me. |
