How can I make my graphics look less “cartoony”? I like that suggestion. |

How can I make my graphics look less “cartoony”? These are great suggestions! I've been playing around with higher contrast, but didn't realize this was the key factor in professional looking icons. And I like your idea about using real-life reflections to model images off of. I'll remove the "balloon" shape that the star has as well. (And strangely enough, I use Windows and have never used or seen iMovie haha.) |

How can I make my graphics look less “cartoony”? Thanks. On one hand, there is the notion that you don't want to spend too much time (or money) on any single app idea, since predicting success is difficult, but on the other hand, you don't want such crappy graphics that no one pays attention to the app to begin with. |
