Finding the “base” color of a gradient . . .? I should clarify, that when I say eye-ball the color I mean pick whatever looks best out of the gradient with an eyedropper tool. In case that wasn't obious ;) |

How to create this effect in photoshop CS5 Can you sketch it? Show an example? I'm having a hard time visualizing what you want. |

Dither and Gradients I hope this answers your question. You did say you understood what dither is, so sorry if any of this is redundant! |

What Graphic Design degree has more value for advancing the field? I'm not sure I know what you mean by "advancing the field of Graphic Design" — could you clarify? |

How would I create this “X” delete button in Photoshop? Ah, sorry, I wasn't clear there. You should hold Shift at first, so you see the little '+' and then let go of Shift — So... Shift, Click, Let go of Shift, Drag ;) |

How would I create this “X” delete button in Photoshop? If you do it as I described (holding Shift when you draw the second part) then it should be a single vector shape. If you don't want to see the lines you can combine the paths: i.imgur.com/EXyZw.png |
