Clearly distinguishable colours for scientific figures @e100 That post answers my question about maximum contrast discrete colour sets. I'm wondering if I should reformulate the question now or even split it in two. The remaining questions are maximum-contrast continuous colour schemes and colour schemes that survive a greyscale conversion (a requirement of some journals---though at this point I'm thinking of sticking to greyscale-only for everything) |

Large color set for coloring of many datasets on a plot This is quite useful, Alexey. Thanks! I'm wondering if you found anything for 1. continuous colour scales (gradients) 2. colour scales or colour sets that retain contrast even after greyscale conversion (a requirement in APS journals, for example). graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/7960/… |
