What's a rocket scientist and a brain surgeon doing software development for? Because I love it! (Okay, I didn't quite attain those titles but I've gotten way closer than most folks ever did.) I'm now an independent software developer with a passion for writing great software. Most of my 12+ years in this field have been with object-oriented PHP. I've also been doing Java since 2010, and in 2011 I picked up Objective-C (iOS). I am most experienced doing web backends but I'm also interested in user experience design.

Other than that, I'm an organic vegetable gardener, a student of business, and a lover of Sacred History. I have a beautiful wife and the cutest baby in the whole world! We are blessed.
