CS5 export layers as files no number sequence While I dislike the numbering as much as you, they do make sense in addressing layers with identical names. So for me, renaming them with a small app afterwards is part of the workflow now. |

What materials should a web designer using Photoshop send to a developer? I agree, those details should all be adressed. I was covering the basics from a designers point of view. For me, these details have been worked out collaboratively though in the past instead of me dictating what happens. It depends on the work relation of developer an designer but I personally like to work in a back and forth way trying to combine design and coding requirements to find ideal results. |

How does one turn a white background transparent in Photoshop but keep transparency? I prefer the masking method as well. But I'd like to add that that leaves white and gray pixel on the shadow. So instead of using the original image, I apply the mask to a solid black layer, ensuring the shadow to be made of one color and transparency alone. |

which colors do I use for zebra striping I too would go with existing ones. If your table is already light blue, use white or a brighter version of the light blue to contrast the lines subtly. Again, it all depends on the color palette already in use. Are there grays you can use that are used elsewhere in the page? |

Logo design issue This question might not fit because it's a brainstorming question. Having said that, I suggest to you to not focus on the very general term of marriage but on the companys quailties. What is their philosophy? What sets them apart from the rest? What do they do better? Do they have a motto? What makes them unique? Do they offer a service others don't? Is there anything special how they do their work? Logo design is often more a research task than a design task. Hope that helps. |
