Stacking Images Using Photoshop Make an Action to apply the Free Transform/Skew Transform to your layers, this way you won't have to worry about typing in the values for each layer your transforming. Cheers! |

How to design 3D logos like this? I answered below, and provided an example. You can do it with Photoshop CS3+ (Extended), but with CS6 you can do it easier and simpler. Also, there's several rendering settings to make it look photorealistic to cartoonish. Cheers! |

How to produce a blurred abstract background like this? +1 for a good example of using one filter with either a photo/picture or color blocking. |

Why 3d redering, even for basic text, is so slow in photoshop and other programs when today's games can do that very easily Muhammad, "real-time" rendering (with various settings) is offen done for 3D video games is not quite true. As Johanes sstated, the game rendering is already done. That is to say that all of the materials have been baked and saved out. In addition, most of the lighting in game is already baked into the textures. There's a big difference between rendering a scene in photoshop and a prebaked model/material/texture/light set in a game. In addition, Photoshop is calculating AO, GI,Refraction, Reflection, caustics, etc... almost all games do not do that in real-time. Cheers! |

Add 3D perspective to a vectorized text I don't think it's quite off-topic Scott, as 3D is built into Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, albeit to a limited degree, but will still do 3D Extrusions on Text and Vector objects. Photoshop CS 6 Extended has a redesigned UI to easily create 3D Text, Extrusions, etc, with camera's lights, IBLs, and more. Scott, the other reason I don't agree is that if you look at the ads around us today, a good 80% use 3D for Text and other aspects of design. More over, designers are called upon to work with 3D assets to use in comps for product placement and package design comps. 3D is now in design. |

Professional looking websites Hey Chris, I'm glad you found the information useful. As to the colors, I would say that your main colors need to come from the branding of the clients identity system, that is to say, if the site uses Orange and Blue, you should be using Orange and Blue (but not as the main colors). Remember that readability is one of the first issues, so color needs to guide the eye or reinforce information. Also, consider using tints/harmonies of the base colors to create a complementary pallet, and try to keep the main colors around 4-5. If I knew the colors I may be able to help more. Good luck! (^_^) |

How can I get more efficient at designing tables for web in Photoshop? There's a book you may want to look into reading: UI Design with Adobe Illustrator by Rick Moore, which may help you with design concepts (around Illustrator workflows) and maximizing your effort if you are thinking about using Illustrator for comps. Cheers! |

How and with what software was this image created with? Yes, but you could have used Cinema 4D, used a body mesh for the Shape Object then a MoGraphic function to fill the body with cubes, a Random effector to change the shapes of the cubes, then rendered it out... The smaller cubes/particles, were probably rendered as a second scene then composited in Photoshop... Just saying that Cinema 4D could also be a good answer... (^_^) |

How do I shift/remap one range of colors to another in Photoshop? That's a good way to do it, but be sure to mask off your Earth (and it's reflection) so that the shadow doesn't get remapped (and stays gray)... if you want it to stay gray. (^_^) |
