Blending Edges in photoshop to a different color of an extracted object with different background color this is not a specific problem question...this is something that comes every now and then. I have tried lots of things. Take any photo crop it and you will see that its anti aliased edges have blending from previous color so is there a way that you know of making them blend to another color, perhaps by being transparent. |

How to remove gray background on gray picture? you could desaturate, that would make it gray and then you could do levels/curves. But I think all those methods MAY not work. Just use the selection to remove the area from original picture. |

What is the exact role/relationship of photoshop in web design? Lol i dont have 1gb/s. In future...like 20 years after. 1gb/s doesnt look like a big deal. It's not irrelevant. We should know why we do something and why not the other way. Trust me people who would come to this question would have thought of it at one point or not that why they cant just take shortcuts. But eventually settled on that is how it is done and it is better. |

What is the exact role/relationship of photoshop in web design? no one should just upload psds..but i imagine when in near future it is feasible to have high speed internet new authoring tools will be developed which will allow us to author quickly lot of interactivity and content. And provide lots of features that allow lots of customization that would leave no or little room for coding main parts by hand. Those full files wont be psd files but something else. But lets say internet goes to high tomorrow for most of the world. I for one wont bother to decode graidents make small files for small screens etc |

What is the exact role/relationship of photoshop in web design? Plus interactivity, and adaption to more devices. I am not saying css and html are wrong. I am saying that lot of stuff that is hand coded is only for this reason. Simple example 3 gradients that overlap each other you could hand code them and not use picture 1900x1200 resolution which would make your site load 100x faster. But when internet is 1gb/s you would wanna focus your time on making app smart and interactive. |

What is the exact role/relationship of photoshop in web design? Take a pixel wide and as much as the height as is the gradient long and the repeat them using CSS. To slice in PS use slice tool. To repeat in Html/CSS use background repeat property. |

What is the exact role/relationship of photoshop in web design? pictures can have the most cross device support they will show exactly what needs to be shown. Obviously they are not gonna stretch. Those interactive parts need to be programmed. But it doesn't have to be clean hand coded css/html as is today. Hand coded is liked because it is efficient small file and Someone else can understand it more easy. |
