I'm an enthusiast programmer/designer! I do web design for a living and am currently designing the esoteric programming language FiM++ as a hobby.

I'm fluent in the latest versions of Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I'm starting to pick up C / C++ / Objective C. I don't see much point in making an effort to learn the C# syntax since I already know Java :P

Just have to say: I like the code colors on page 66! It looks spookily similar to my coloring x3 meta.bhstudios.org/design/colors/#SOFT

comment When should a Material Design ripple be dark, and when should it be light?
interesting... makes me wonder how many questions on this site could be answered with "use your best judgement".

comment How does one generate a palette similar to the ones in Google's material design?
I think OP wanted to know how to start with his own color and generate a similar swatch

Actually, taking a step back from the screen, it appears to use a similar algorithm as phong shading... I'll have to consider this

They seem to be the base color with the saturation and value respectively increased or decreased inversely as the number goes up or down

comment Are there any free emoji fonts?
That appears to just be a collection of .svg files, and not a font.
