What's wrong with Droid fonts? I hope that this question is not misinterpreted as argumentative, since it really is an interesting question. A good answer could address, in the general case, what qualities are desirable in a font family, and more specifically what influence the target medium (print, LCD screen, small size, etc.) has on font selection. |

Are “formula-images” considered public domain? The concepts of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idea-expression_divide and the merger doctrine would seem to apply here. |

iOS, Android, etc., tablet devices in a design workflow? Ah, I understand now. What I had meant to convey, and perhaps did a poor job of expressing, is that with certain tablets it may be possible to substitute the tablet for a tablet PC, which I expect is much more commonplace in a graphics workflow. For what it's worth, that youtube video is by a woman who uses tablets regularly in her work as a costume/mascot designer, as a sort of mobile digital sketchpad. But yeah, all I can give you is secondhand experience ;) |

What are examples of creative uses of restaurant print design paraphernalia? Unfortunately, the Stack Exchange Q&A format is not well suited to answering this type of question. As explained on the FAQ page, "Brainstorming or idea gathering" questions don't really work well here. If you have specific design questions, you will receive better answers if you ask each one individually. |

Digital way of detecting and removing pencil traces? Excellent point that I probably should have stressed more. I used threshold to illustrate the concept, but levels is definitely the better approach, as seen in my second figure. |
